Mario Karloff

Mario Karloff represents the darker side of 6 Monkeys Publishing. His works often deal with the more psychological and horror aspects of a narrative. He works hard for a distinctive style and is always trying out new ways to tell a story.

Pumpkin Batter

This is the newest work by Mario. It's a strange mixture of horror and comedy featuring some outlandish characters and a unique story. When Ryan Glass stumbles onto a fight between two strange monsters, he soon finds his life thrown into a spiral of blood, fear and confusion. Not only is it revealed to him that he doesn't remember the past six months of his life but there are a number of people and monsters that want him or his blood.

This book will be released in several parts over the next six months. The first part will be released in late July, early August. Warning, this book is extremely violent and contains profanity.

Angelas Inferno

A mother awakes in a cold blue cell. Covered in bandages and confused, she stands and looks into the metal wall where a computerized face stares back at her.
"Hello Angela," it says. "Welcome to the Holographic Enterprise into the Labyrinths of Loathing...you may call me Virgil."

Locked away in a madman's horrible experiment, Angela fights and crawls her way through the nine circles of hell, each one imprisoning one of her children within a hell of their own horrid designs. While trying to save each of her nine children, she fights her addictions to drugs, sex and liquor; finds the voice of calm within the anger of her irritability and faces the demons that have shadowed her her whole life.

"Your eyes don't lie. Your brain does..." Virgil laughs.

Gemini & Other short stories

Three short stories and a novella about violence and it's purpose.

Gemini: A short story about two brothers on their last adventure across the Arctic. It starts with one brother telling his story to a criminal psychiatrist and unravels into a bloody tale of desperation.

Rubber Devil: A haunting story set on Halloween night about a group of friends who go out into the night amongst a sea of innocence only to encounter the devils within themselves.

Shark Obliterator: A short story depicting a game show where death row inmates are pitted against blood thirsty sharks in a last ditch effort to save their lives. There is plenty of blood. There is plenty of screams. And there is a little boy.

The Engine Man: A novella set in a war torn alien world where the only hope left is a gaping hole on the hole's surface. As a lowly engine worker goes from each of the four distinct warships surrounding the hole, he finds each army's hope for the hole along with his own in the process.
