Afterworld Series

This is Andrew's young adult series about a post apocalyptic America where technology in every way is sought out and destroyed by huge monsters. People are forced to live within the shadows of these giant goliaths, living meager, hard, antiquated lives just to survive. But Alisa, and others like her, want more from life and are willing to fight for it.

As of 7-05-12, I am almost halfway done with the first draft of the sequel. I don't know why this has been such a challenging book for me to write. It's actually the second time doing the sequel. I wrote 25k for it last year but decided to scrap it because it seemed too dark compared to the first.

A post apocalyptic story of love and fear, of progress in the face of the horrible new world filled with witches, Goliaths, Outsiders and wild animals. 17 year old Alisa wants to build skyscrapers. She wants to recreate the old world. But how can she when her crush Tyler only wants to farm? Sometimes, it takes a new set of eyes to begin the process of change. And Cauflin is willing to show her the beauty of progress and what it takes to attain it. If only she could choose Tyler or Caulfin before she’s torn apart by the Goliaths or burned at the stake for witchcraft, then maybe she could see the world for not what it is, but what it could truly become.
